Ajax Carousel (with JQuery)
The carousel component first made it's appearance as author Bill Scott demonstrated what could be done with the YUI, Yahoo's library of JS utilities for developing rich web applications.
It has since been duplicated using other Javascript libraries and this example uses JQuery.
Above is an example using the simplest and, probably most common variables.
This can be very useful for auto-scrolling homepage news, image galleries, etc.
